Why we started 

Over the years, we have met many Australian caravan owners that share our passion for eating good food even in the most remote parts of our beautiful country.  Preparing a good meal brings family and friends together and where better to do it than the Australian outdoors with a coldie.

It is certainly true, that we all have our favourite BBQ, oven, or cooker and we have our own special way of setting it up ready to cook! What is generally missing, is finding everything you need in one place, easily available and ready to use. A one stop outdoor camping kitchen.

Whilst there are some outdoor kitchens on the market, there is little available that provides a good size sink, lots of storage space, lots of shelf space, hot & cold water, gas and electricity all in one place.  Without nothing in the market that matched our needs, we started making our own AKM camping kitchens knowing that many other Australians want the same level of convenience in their outdoor cooking experience.

AKM outdoor kitchen designs offer something for all types of caravans, four-wheel drives, utes, and most recreational vehicles.  Our designs, bring to life outdoor cooking with simplicity, convenience, and ease.  We make access to outdoor kitchens easy irrespective of where you may be in this magnificent country of ours.

Installation and caravan repairs

AKM have a team of caravan specialists dedicated to installing your kitchen to your caravan, four-wheel drive, or any other recreational vehicle. 

Before extending into manufacturing of kitchens, our business started as a caravan repair and modification centre with experience in modifications, repairs, installation of solar panel, refrigerators, hot water system, plumbing modifications, installation of bull bars and tow balls and almost anything that you would need for a caravan.

This experience makes it easy for us to find the best way to connect your kitchen to your caravan or vehicle.
